Bose QuietComfort Headphones Drop to Record-Low $169.99

Tech enthusiasts and casual listeners alike are celebrating a major price drop. The first-generation Bose QuietComfort headphones are now available for just $169.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Bose's own store — a massive $190 discount from the original price. This marks a return to its best-ever price point, making high-end noise cancellation surprisingly affordable.

Noise-Cancelling That Holds Up

Despite being a first-gen model, the noise-cancelling technology remains impressively effective. It reliably blocks out airplane cabin noise, city traffic, and office chatter, delivering a focused listening experience that competes well with newer rivals.

Sound Quality and Comfort

The audio profile is tuned for warmth and balance. Bass is present without overwhelming mids and highs, making it versatile for music, podcasts, and calls. Comfort-wise, the plush ear cushions and lightweight headband ensure hours of fatigue-free use, a signature Bose strength.

Should You Buy It?

At $169.99, these headphones offer exceptional value. If you prioritize proven noise cancellation over the latest Bluetooth features or premium build materials, this is a smart buy. The second-generation model, also currently discounted, offers upgraded connectivity and refined aesthetics, but the first-gen still holds its own at this price.
